First they tease, then they please… Cardi B and Bruno Mars pack a 1-2 punch on the sexy new collaboration “Please Me.”
Produced by Mars and the Stereotypes, the new song dropped at midnight across digital music services. We knew it was coming, but everything else was kept a closely-guarded secret until the big reveal.
Cardi has a lot to be pleased about. Earlier this week, the Bronx rapper took out the best rap album Grammy for her chart-topping, double platinum certified Invasion Of Privacy.
“Please Me” has a mid-tempo retro groove. And, this should come as no surprise, it’s full of sex appeal. On it, she sings “Lollipoppin’, twerkin’ in some J’s / On the dance floor (Uh-huh), no panties in the way / I take my time with it, bring you close to me.”
These two have chart history together. Last April, Cardi and Bruno teamed up on “Finesse,” which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100. Stream “Please Me” below.
